Some call it Philadelphia’s most popular town square. Others say it’s the toniest neighborhood around. One thing’s for sure – Rittenhouse Square is a vibrant, urban oasis surrounded by the city’s finest restaurants, boutiques, galleries, theaters and entertainment. It is also home to historic townhouses, luxury high-rise residences, and fabulous fairs, festivals and farmer’s markets.
Rittenhouse Square was one of five original squares planned by city founder William Penn in the late 17th Century. Today, the Square is a favorite of young and old. It is naturally beautiful – splashed with color from well-tended flowerbeds, with ornamental lampposts, impressive sculptures and fountains found throughout.
In the warmer months, Rittenhouse Square is the site of flower markets and outdoor art exhibitions.
It is, quite simply, superbly located.
Everything you could possibly need or want is right outside your door… or a few steps away.
